Coventry & Warwickshire is the motor city of the UK and a major centre for vehicle and powertrain development and vehicle manufacture. It is at the forefront of developments in future mobility, home to the UK Battery Industrialisation Centre, WMG at the University of Warwick and home of the planned West Midlands 'gigafactory' at Coventry Airport and the UK’s first Urban Air Port. Today's panel discussion will review the UK skills challenge and discuss what is needed to keep the UK as a major player in ACES – Autonomous, Connected, Electric, Shared vehicles and fuel cell power train.
